Task: 

Students search for the latest trends of youth in German speaking Europe with pictures, including:

• fashion (Mode)
• appearance (Aussehen)
• entertainment (Unterhaltung: Filme, Musik, Tänze, Partys, Literatur, Spiele, etc .)
• sports (Sport)
• travel (Reisen)
• transportation (Verkehrsmittel)
• others

They compare these trends to local trends, particularly under the aspects of:

• which trends originated in America?
• which trends originated in Europe?
• which trends also (will) exist(ed) here, or will/did not make it?
• are there trend categories, which do not exist in our or their culture and why?

They also include personal issues, such as :

• Which trend he/ she does/would pursue? why? Including all the categories.
• Which trend he/she is opposed to? why?

Form:

 With the gathered material they create a three page MSWord document in German.
