Was isst du gern?         Was ist dein Lieblingsessen?     Was möchtest du essen?

Was isst man in Deutschland und wann?  Was isst man in Amerika und wann? Was sind deine Lieblingsmarken?

Isst du gern ausländisches Essen? Was und wo isst du gern?

Vergleiche Essgewohnheiten in Deutschland mit Amerika:

- Was für ausländisches Essen gibt es in Deutschland und Amerika?

- Was für ausländisches Essen isst man gern in Amerika und in Deutschland?

- Hat dieses Essen die Essgewohnheiten in Amerika beeinflusst [influenced)]?

Isst du deutsches Essen? Was isst du am liebsten? Wo isst du deutsches Essen?

Wenn du in Deutschland wohnen würdest, was würdest du essen?

Schreibe  90/110/140 Wörter an deinen Freund oder deine Freundin!

- Study German eating habits from the websites above; take notes in form of a chart listing foods at different meals.

Describe foods you eat

-         during the day: “morgens, mittags, abends”

-         for different meals: “zum Frühstück, zum Mittagessen, zum Abendessen”

-         for Snacks: “in der Pause [break], nach der Schule, auf Parties”

Note: if foods are American, such as “Hamburger” or Cheeseburger”, use the English word.

Describe what you would like to eat, using  forms of “möchten” , tomorrow, “morgen”, or on the weekend, “am Wochenende”.

Describe what Germans , and then you and your family, eat during the day - include different brands that you prefer - at different meals and compare and contrast, using expressions such as "auch", "aber", "obwohl" etc.

Also include reasons, why you have/like to eat certain foods and brands using "weil" and/or "denn".

Hints:

-         You may also write about foods during different seasons. E.g. “ Im Sommer essen wir gern Melone.”

-         You may also mention, whether you eat with your family, “mit meiner Familie”, friends, “mit Freunden”, or alone, “allein”.

Be sure to pay special attention to the verb position, and check verb forms.

Pay special attention to unpreceded adjectives and comparative expressions.
