Einladung nach Morganton

Your German friend will be coming to Morganton, soon. Send him an invitation including what kinds of things you plan to do with him/her. Also imply chores you and family members have to do, and how your friend can help.

Planung:

• Follow the links to German guides on North Carolina
• Study the things to do in Morganton and larger area at different times of the year, such as "im Frühling", "im Sommer", "im Herbst", "im Winter".
• Mention things you and your friends like to do
• Make a chart and list "auf deutsch" including days and times of the day when things can be done
• Include in the chart some chores you and family members have to do
• Comment on how you like to do these things

Schreiben:

Write an invitational letter ( 110 words) to your friend  about the coming weekend. Include detailed plans particular to your general area including activities and sites. Use sequencing and descriptive words.

Be sure to use:

• the impersonal pronoun "man"
• the phrase "es gibt" [there is / there are]
• forms of "möchten", "wollen", "müssen", "können"
• "gern" and "mag"
