Project: Latin writing on the wall (55 points)

Task: Find and analyze ancient Roman writings on walls, such as graffiti, notes etc.

Note: some of the writings you find may be vulgar; please ignore these

1. Find eight examples of Roman wall scriblings. (2 points each)
2. Translate the scribblings. ( 2 each)
3. Describe their sources. (1 each)
4. Organize the scribblings in four categories (e.g. love notes, political campaigning, record keeping, posted notes, etc.) (2 each)
5. Compare the scribblings in a short essay with scribblings written today. (7 points)
